第2χ 「好きなことば」！？

やれやれ、

Baxterが、例の本の中で

以下のようにコメントしている、やれやれ。

“There are 'down-to-earth' physicists and chemists who reject lattice models as being unrealistic. In its most extreme form, their argument is that if a model can be solved exactly, then it must be pathological. I think this is defeatist nonsense"

そして、私は、このコメントに

かなり共感（同情）してしまうらしい、やれやれ。

というのも、

私は、Baxterとは異なり数理的な議論には全く触れてないが、

その系が正確に数値計算が可能である、

というだけの理由から、

（実在が確認できない）理想的な模型かつ、ごく小さな系を対象に

研究をしてきたのだが、

Baxterの上記のコメントと

非常に似たような批判をΨ三、

物理学者たちから聞かされてきたからである、やれやれ。

そんな経緯で、

なぜかこのフレーズを

気に入ってしまったらしく、

この日記のプロフィールの箇所の「好きなことば」のところに記入してしまった、

やれやれ……。

Baxter says

And I seem to sympathize with it and the unfortunate comments which probably he experienced, oh god grief.

Actually, I have studied numerical study for ‘ideal’ and ‘tiny’ lattice models with numerically ‘exact’ method then in some conferences some physicists criticized me, saying that the lattice models as being unrealistic, oh my god.

Therefore, somehow this phrase is my favorite, and I filled it in the profile form in this Hatena diary, oh good grief.
