The master thesis!?

" Art as Art becomes Art as Art"

At National Gallery Singapore,

We saw exhibited a Mr. thesis ,which was written by Redza Piyadasa at Hawaii Uni.

We were curious about why a master thesis was exhibited in Art museum, and we thought what the writer meant by that title……

" Art as Art becomes Art as Art" .

We felt it was original, peculiar and eccentric not only the fact Mr. thesis was exhibited here,

but also the title and structure, and so on.

My friend were laughing and somehow looked for Equations ,

”Equations are there??・・・＂ 

→I also chuckled " something Equations? "(^◇^;)

He seemed to be addicted to it, he suggested me to bur lesque my Dr.thesis in the point of its title and structure.

During my stay, he reminisced about it and chuckled some times after the day.

Anyway, it lingers in our heart and makes us laugh even now when reminiscing.

He prefers to outdoor activity and doesn't like a kind of Museum, especially abstract works,

so he complained of taking too much time in this museum and we could not act as his planing.

However he seemed to very jovial and exciting in this Museum......!?

Btw, my master thesis's title is

" Free Energy Landscape for small triangular lattice system”.

シンガポールナショナルギャラリーに友人と行った日のこと。

Redza Piyadasa の修論を製本化したものが展示されていて、博論を目前にした友人は「なぜ、ここに卒業論文があるの？？」とかなり反応してた。

タイトルとか構成が私たち（理論物理系）にとっては変わっていて、独創的に感じた。

そして、何故か、友人は笑いながら、論文をめくり、方程式を探し始めた・・・

→私「方程式はないと思うよ？ 」(^◇^;)

さらに、私に、博論をこれのパロディーにしたらどうか、と笑いながらからかってくるから応答に困った(^◇^;)

とにかく、この話、滞在中も、何度も話題に上って笑ったし、思い出を話し合うと今でも笑ってしまう。

彼は、アウトドア派で、あんまりMuseumの類が好きでないようで、

特に、Art Museumの抽象的な作品は苦手、なようで。

だから、この美術館で長く時間をかけてしまい、その日、計画通りに観光が出来なかったことを不満に思っったようだが、

その割には、彼、かなり楽しそうだったなぁ……！？
