Determinant

【I wonder why Determinant was defined to begin with !?】Before computing something by using problem package and super computer, I had to make sure several things.; they are questions for several quantum spin system and I should compute them by my hand. Then several basic and elementary but delicate(?) and fundamental questions arose in my mind.  

Moreover, 

I wonder why Determinant was defined to begin with !?

It was defined just when it was thought as convenient to express Inverse matrix ?？

In my textbook, if Determinant is defined, we can lead ～ from them, we can develop stories we have talked ever......

「行列式ってそもそもどうしてそのように定義されたのだろう！？」

スーパーコンピューターと（スピン系のある物理量を計算する為の）プログラムパッケージを使う前に、私は、いくつかの問題を手計算をして確かめておく必要があって、それらは、少なくてシンプルな量子スピン系の固有エネルギーとかなんらかの物理量に関するものである。

初歩的で基本的なこと（のはず！）、

でも微妙で？ 根源的な疑問が生じてしまった。。。

さらには、「行列式」ってそもそもどうしてそう定義されたのかしら？と思うようになってしまった・・・逆行列を表す時に、そういうものを定義したら便利だから、というだけで定義された概念、

本当？？

線形代数学の本では、「行列式」という章が独立してあってーーなんか突然、そういうものを定義したら、こんな話ができるよ、こんな性質があるよね、

という感じなの……
