Death penalty, human rights of criminals

Recently, after a calamity , which one stubbed 19 people to death and hurt 26 people in a facility for the mentally handicapped,many people around me have often broached the topic about death penalty, the human rights of perpetrators and the judicial system.

BTW, I wrote essays, whose topic were....

"Should death penalty be abolished?"

" Should we protect the identity of juvenile criminals ?"

They are Essay Topics of Eiken grade 1 .

I will answer the questions both "YES "

because.....

As a examinee, to pass the exam, I should Not 

write any exception, that is, sentences, which don't Reinforce my first answer .

However, of course , I advocate " Yes " to these questions 【under several conditions】.

" There is no rule without exceptions. " isn't it?

最近、「障害者施設の大量刺殺事件」がありましたね。その後、私の周りでは、この事件の話に派生して死刑制度、犯罪者の人権、そして司法の制度の話題がよく持ち出される。

ところで、最近、私はこんなテーマについて小論文を書いた。

Q.死刑制度を廃止すべきか？

Q. 少年犯罪者の身元を保護すべきか？

これらは、英検一級の小論文課題のテーマである。

私は、どちらにも「YES」と答えよう、

なぜなら……

受験者として、英検一級に合格するために、私は、どんな例外も書いてはいけない、つまり、私自身の「YES」の主張を強化するもの以外の文章は書いてはいけないので、例外とか条件とかはこの課題の解答中には書けない。

しかし、試験はさておき、私自身としては、

【幾つかの条件付きで】「YES」と答えよう。

「例外のない規則はない」というでしょう？
