Vucuume

I talked about the idea "vacuum " with 3 persons and 3 times in one afternoon and I got puzzled a little.......Although I enjoyed the conversations, I felt tired a little.

Somehow I cannot live with the thinking of particle physics:

Matter and Antimatter, creation and annihilation operators , etc

and a teacher, who teaches inorganic chemistry and solid state physics too, he agreed with me.

BTW, I have not studied particle physics yet.

なんか、1日の日中のうちに「真空」の概念について３人と3回も話をするという珍しい経験があった。

例えば最密充填構造で充填率 74%といえば、26%は、その結晶を構成する原子が「無い」空間が26%である、と思うしかない。

私もよく疑問に思ってはいたことではあるのだが……

「だから、その「真空にある物質」って何？？それが本当にわからない！」

と先生に何度も繰り返してしまった！

そもそも、私は、生成・消滅演算子

の概念というのがどうもよくわからない、

量子系を表す式に現れた時の数学的な処理は認めて何度もやってきたけどさ。

「作用すると粒子が生成・消滅する？？」

この素粒子の話には、無機化学、固体物理学系の先生も困惑しきってた。現代でも化学、固体物理学なら

「あるものはある、無いものは無い！」だよ、だって（笑）

ちなみに、私は素粒子物理学の勉強は一般教養レヴェルでもしたことが無いのですが。
