「知」の欺瞞

Oh, good grief,

recently I have been browsing the book "Fashionable Nonsence Postmodern Intellectuals' Abuse of Science " .

Therefore I have burst into laughing often, good grief!

The authors and translators are scholars and educators, who specialize in mathematical physics, statistical physics.

But, I thought,

just because I have studied statistical physics, I burst into laughing so often?

How do they feel if they specialize in disciplines except mathematics and physics, especially "social science ", "philosophy " and " psychology " . 

Therefore,

Please let me know your feeling if you know or have read it ! !

やれやれ、 

Ψ近、「ソーカル事件」で有名なAlan Socal & Jean Bricmont の書いた「知」の欺瞞 という本を読んで、いやいや、熟読ではなくて「ざっと見た」というべきか。

であるからして、

申し訳ないが、爆笑してしまう、やれやれ。

著者も翻訳者も、数理物理学・統計物理学を専門としている研究者・教育者で。翻訳者の一人は、日本の学生の間では、統計力学、熱力学、スピン系の相転移に関する数理物理学の教科書的な本で有名だと思う。

でも、これは、私が、統計物理学をやっているから笑えるのだろうか？ 他の学問分野の人たち、つまり、数学・物理学以外の人たち、特に、社会科学、哲学、心理学あたりの人たちはどう思うのだろうか？
