Conditions as a student
（先の投稿の続き）
先の【純粋すぎる】の背景を大雑把に話そう。
（一般的に）大学院生をやること、それから、私自身の卒業後の意向に関して話だった。
大雑把にこんな話だった。
「あくまで研究室の教授の立場からすればだが、学生をおく、ということは、とても『コストのかかる』ことなんだから、学生は、研究室への『貢献』が無ければ居る資格はない。
『貢献』とは、例えば、卒業後に研究者として活躍して研究室の名をあげるとか、在学中に論文を出したり、後輩の世話をしたりとか……。
とにかく、研究室に居る為には、教授が何らかの理由で『そのコストにもかかわらず、その学生をおいておく価値がある』と認めなければいけない。
言い換えると、あなたが、前の研究室に留まりたいのなら、
何らかの形で、その教授に『高いコストを考えても、おいておく価値がある』と認めさせなければなかったよね。
（中略）
まあ、そうでなくとも学生の在籍を認める教員もいるだろうし、全員とは言わないけど、少なくとも一部の教員は、あなたの前の指導教員は、そうだと思うし、それは当然のことだと思う、『コストがかかる』んだから。」
私は、『部分的には』もちろん同意するのだが、
全面的な賛成は絶対に出来ない！
であるからして、反論をした。
「私たちは、『学びたいから』学生やってると思うけど。
元々、『大学』って、学びたい人たちと教育をしたい人たちが集まって、そういう場を作ろうとして設立されたものでしょう❗️
私は、『勉強・研究したいから』今、大学にいるけど、それが第一じゃない？
もちろん、私だって、認めるよ…
その研究室に所属するメンバーとして、『Ψ低限のこと』はすべきで、
でも研究室の学生が『Ψ低限すべきこと』を出来の良し悪しはともかく、一応はやっていて、
常に、研究に対して努力をしているのなら、学生は、研究室に居ていいと思う。
【全ての学生は、教育を受ける権利がある】
はずだ。
もし、教員が、特別な理由があって学生に教育をしないなら、その理由を十分に説明して、その学生を納得させた上で辞めさせるべきだと思う。」
そんな反論をしたら、
「それは【純粋過ぎる】ね・・・」と。
さらに、「高等教育でも学生が教育を受ける権利？ 義務教育ならともかく、高等教育において、それはよくわからない…？」
と同級生は言ったが、
学生は、入学を認められたからには、教育を受ける権利があるし、教員には学生を引き受けた以上、教育する義務があるでしょう？
もちろん人間同士だから相性が全く合わないこともあるし、学生側に問題があって、教育が出来ない場合もあるでしょうが。

話は戻るが、
「 研究室への貢献」「報い」？
どうして、私は、博士課程に進学する時点で、Ψ初から、『プロの統計物理学者になる』と規定されなければならないのかね？
これは、教授の当然の権利で、言葉を濁した私に非があるのか？
研究室にいる間、メンバーとして人間的であることと学業に努力をすることは当然として、
教授が学生の卒業後のことにまで干渉する『権利』は無いはず。

【A classmate censured me for the "purity " to my attitude to studying and the way of living.】
I will tell you the context roughly.
The topic was concerned with the graduate school and my intention after graduating.
The classmate insisted that from the viewpoint of professors ,
having students "costs" very much, therefore if a student hopes to stay the group , one should be estimated to be 'worthy' by the group boss, that is, professor.
In other words, if you hope to stay the group, because of 'high cost ' , you should be admitted that you surely contribute to the group by 'Professor '. Of course all teachers are not so, but some are, and as a matter of course, all teachers have the right of doing so just because of 'high cost ' ."
"Of course,I don't intend 'all professors 'but some should be so,I think. "
I argued against his intentions although actually I agree with him "partly".
Therefore I objected,
"Just because we students want to study, we are here, aren't we !
Originally, 'university ' should be founded just because some people demanded the place to receive or give education and study ❗️
Just because I want to study,
I have been here (at our school ) !
Of course, I concede, I should do contribute to our group in some way, and I do the minimum requirements as a student, however if students do 'the minimum requirements ' and always make the effort towards their study, they are entitled to belong to their groups.
【All students should have the right of receiving education❗️】
If teachers don't think so, and are not willing to educate by specific reason, they must explain adequately the reason why and let their students leave.
Then, the classmate said "Your idea is 'too pure ' "

Why do I have to be provided that I must be a professional researcher of statistical physics just after graduation at the point of starting doctor course by Professor ?
It should be free !
